Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. Enjoy a warm welcome tea or coffee at the hotel and take a gentle stroll nearby if you wish.

After breakfast, explore the highlights of Leh and Sham Valley, starting with the vibrant Leh Market. Visit the historic Leh Palace and the serene Shanti Stupa offering panoramic views of the city. Continue to the intriguing Magnetic Hill, the informative Hall of Fame Museum, and the spiritual Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Conclude the day with a visit to the Sangam of Zanskar & Indus Rivers.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh, via the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,390 ft. En route, soak in breathtaking views of endless snow-capped peaks. Spend some time at Khardung La before continuing towards Nubra, with optional adventure stops for an ATV ride (direct payment). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the towering 108 ft Maitreya Buddha Statue at Diskit Monastery. End the day at the enchanting Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride and admire the spectacular valley views.

After breakfast, drive to the remote village of Turtuk, which was opened to tourists for the first time in 2010. Once under Pakistan’s control until 1971, Turtuk is now a strategically important Indian village and serves as one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. Predominantly a Muslim village, locals speak Balti, Ladakhi, and Urdu. Explore the Balti Heritage House and Museum, a family-run heritage site, and visit the picturesque Turtuk Waterfalls. Continue to Thang (Zero Point) village, the northernmost village in India along the Leh-Baltistan border, located just 2.2 km from the Line of Control (LOC). Here, you can view Indian and Pakistani bunkers and see where the Shyok River enters Pakistan. After this unique border experience, return to Nubra Valley

After breakfast, follow the same route towards Leh until Khalsar, then take the left turn at Agyam Bridge leading to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The road after Shyok is steep but scenic. Continue via Tangtse along the traditional route, and drive further to the stunning Pangong Lake, one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas, situated at 14,000 ft. Explore the lake area, and you might spot some rare wildlife. Visit the famous “3 Idiots” shooting point and sample local food at small lakeside restaurants. Enjoy leisure time soaking in the color-changing waters and the spectacular sunset over the lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri Lake via Chushul and Karzok, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. In the evening, explore the stunning Tso Moriri Lake and its serene surroundings, known for its crystal-clear waters and high-altitude beauty. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Korzok Village and Puga Valley, enjoying the mesmerizing landscapes en route. Continue to Tsokar Lake and cross the Taglang La Pass, the second highest motorable road in the world at 17,585 ft. Arrive in Leh by evening and check in to your hotel.

Early morning, transfer to Leh Airport to board your flight for your onward destination. Conclude your Ladakh Expedition with unforgettable memories of pristine lakes, high mountain passes, and vibrant Himalayan culture.

  • Acclimatization is Key – Spend your first day in Leh resting to adjust to the high altitude (11,500 ft). Avoid strenuous activity on arrival.
  • Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water to prevent altitude sickness. Limit alcohol and caffeine.
  • Layered Clothing – Temperatures fluctuate drastically. Carry warm jackets, thermals, gloves, and caps.
  • Sun Protection – Use sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats to protect against strong UV rays at high altitudes.
  • Health Precautions – Carry basic medicines, especially for headaches, motion sickness, and altitude sickness.
  • Travel Documents – Keep your ID and permits handy, especially for border villages like Turtuk.
  • Cash Availability – ATMs are limited in remote areas; carry sufficient cash for small purchases and local eateries.

  • Extensions of the tour program or diversions in the itinerary for any reason (e.g., bad weather, road closure, breakdown, or natural calamities).
