Overview
Himachal Pradesh, the land of deities and often referred as Dev Bhoomi, is a home to many temples and Bijli Mahadev temple is one such temple which has its religious importance as well as mysteries and miracles attached to it. Made up in ‘Kash’ architecture, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located at a distance of 14 Kilometers from Kullu, the temple has a mystery related to the Shiva Lingam of the temple. It is believed that when lightning strikes to the Shiva Lingam, it turns it into pieces and then the priest of the temple joins it with butter and sattu. Each year during Savan, Shiva devotees visit the temple and pay homage to Mahadev. Bijli Mahadev top gives the best view of the places like Parbati, Garsa, Bhunter and Kullu valley. On the way towards Bijli Mahadev you will find the dazzling view of tall trees lined up in your way along with the wild flowers and lush green grass.

The Bijli Mahadev Trek was an incredible experience! The trail offered breathtaking Himalayan views, lush forests, and a sense of adventure at every step. Reaching the temple at the top was truly rewarding, with stunning panoramic landscapes. A must-do for nature lovers and adventure seekers! Highly recommended!
