Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in and enjoy a warm welcome drink (tea/coffee) served by the hotel staff. The day is reserved for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft), allowing you to rest and prepare for the adventures ahead. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel and soaking in your first glimpses of the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical highlights of Leh: Leh Market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Sangam of Zanskar & Indus River. Immerse yourself in the local culture, witness stunning views, and enjoy the serene ambiance of these iconic landmarks.elaxing at the hotel and soaking in your first glimpses of the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh, via the iconic Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,390 ft. Enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains along the route. On arrival, you can opt for adventure activities such as ATV rides (direct payment). After hotel check-in, visit the 108 ft. high Maitriya Buddha Statue at Diskit Monastery and explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride (optional, direct payment) amidst the stunning landscape of Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Turtuk, a remote border village opened to tourists in 2010. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971 and is predominantly a Muslim village where residents speak Balti, Ladakhi, and Urdu. This strategic village, one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier, offers a glimpse into life near the northernmost border of India, just 2.2 km from the Line of Control with Pakistan. Explore the Balti Heritage House & Museum and the scenic Turtuk Waterfalls. Continue to Thang (Zero Point) Village in Shyok Valley to witness bunkers on both Indian and Pakistani sides, and see where the Shyok River enters Pakistan.
After breakfast, drive from Nubra Valley toward Pangong Lake, following the route via Khalsar, Shyok, Durbuk, and Tangtse. The journey offers scenic landscapes with steep yet manageable roads and views of remote villages and valleys. Arrive at Pangong Lake, one of the largest and most stunning natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas, situated at 14,000 ft.. More than half of the lake lies in Chinese territory, while the remaining third is in India. Explore the lake area, spot rare wildlife, visit the 3 Idiots shooting point, and savor local cuisine at small lakeside restaurants. Enjoy leisure time to witness the lake’s changing colors and a breathtaking sunset over the serene waters.
Start your day with the breathtaking sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, stopping at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot tea while taking in the stunning views. En route, visit Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and Thiksey Monastery, perched atop a hill and a fine example of traditional Ladakhi architecture, featuring Stupas, statues, Thangkas, wall paintings, and a large pillar depicting Buddha’s teachings. Continue to Hemis Monastery, built in 1630, the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, housing exquisite wall paintings, Thangkas, and other historic artifacts. Arrive in Leh, check in to the hotel, and enjoy leisure time to relax or explore at your own pace.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport to board your flight back to your onward destination. Take with you cherished memories of the breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and unique experiences of Ladakh, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
- Acclimatization is Key: Leh is located at an altitude of around 11,500 ft, so rest well on Day 1 and avoid strenuous activity to adapt to the thin air.
- Carry Valid ID Proof: Inner Line Permits may be required for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake; keep multiple photocopies of your ID.
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water, herbal tea, or soups to prevent altitude sickness. Avoid alcohol on the first day.
- Pack Warm Clothing: Even in summer, nights are cold. Carry thermal wear, jackets, gloves, and woolen caps, especially for Khardung La and Pangong Lake.
- Cash is Essential: ATMs are available only in Leh town. Carry enough cash for remote areas like Nubra Valley and Pangong.
- Photography Readiness: Keep extra batteries and memory cards as cold weather drains battery life faster.
- Travel Light but Smart: Include sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, and moisturizer to protect against sunburn and dryness.
- Adventure Activities: Activities like camel rides, ATV rides, or rafting are optional and payable directly at the site.
- Mobile Connectivity: Only postpaid SIM cards work in Ladakh; BSNL and Jio have better coverage in some areas.
- Respect Local Culture: Dress modestly at monasteries, remove shoes before entering prayer halls, and ask before photographing locals.
- Weather & Road Conditions: Be prepared for sudden changes in weather and possible delays due to landslides or roadblocks.
- Airfare to and from Leh.
- Any kind of bus or rail fare.

- Extensions of the tour program or diversions in the itinerary for any reason (e.g., bad weather, road closure, breakdown, or natural calamities).
